Ceilings show up every mistake. They’re lit from below by downlights and from the side by windows, which is the worst possible angle for a flat finish. A roller mark, a patched spot that dried a shade different, a lap line where you stopped for lunch — on a wall you’d never see it. On a ceiling at four in the afternoon, you see all of it.
CEPA is built for that. It’s a flat white ceiling paint, water-based, made here in Thomastown.
What it does
Two things matter in a ceiling paint, and they’re both about what happens while you’re rolling it.
The first is wet edge. CEPA stays open long enough to roll a full room without the join showing where one pass met the next. You still want to work in sections and keep moving — but you’re not fighting the clock.
The second is spatter. It’s formulated to stay on the roller instead of raining down on your drop sheets, your hair and the top of the architraves. Less masking before, less cleanup after.

CEPA is an interior ceiling paint. Don’t put it on bathroom or laundry ceilings that get steamed daily — a flat film holds moisture and you’ll get mould in the corners within a year. Use a low-sheen interior paint in wet areas instead.
Don’t use it outdoors, including on verandah and alfresco ceilings. It isn’t formulated for UV or weather and it will chalk.

Coverage
15 litres covers roughly 150 m² per coat on sealed, previously painted plasterboard.
On bare plasterboard, fresh set plaster, or anywhere you’ve patched, expect noticeably less on the first coat — porous areas drink it. Seal those first with EZ2Cover AF-993 and you’ll get the coverage above plus an even finish. Skip the sealer and the patched spots will flash through as dull marks, and no amount of extra topcoat fixes it properly.
